Sorry for not keeping in touch. By now you must have heard about the new E Spot in Studio City. It is run by my daughter, Sheila E.. A small but wonderful venue that is upstairs from Vittelo’s Resturant. It opened January 30th. Sheila played at the Grand Opening for 2 nights to sold out crowds.
I performed on Wednesday, February 4th, to kick off “Pete Escovedo Presents” every Wednesday night. You can go to Vittelo’s website to check out the latest schedule of bands that will be performing at the E Spot Lounge.
Please come and check it out. Great Food, Great Entertainment! 7 nights a week. Hope to see you there. Blessings,
You more than likely thought that I left the planet. Well, almost, but at least not yet. After the dates at Yoshi’s on New Years Eve week, I have been just laying low and thinking about what needs to be done this coming year.
January 2013 spent most of the time focused on the Super Bowl as the Forty Niners were supposed to defeat the Ravens. But, no cigar. Oh well, wait till next year.
Since I am now 77 years young, I decided to come out with a brand new look. Hope you enjoy the new website, new photos, new art work and summer performance dates.
We will keep you updated on the new CD recorded live at Stern Grove in San Francisco, CA.
Well I am back to my old self again. It was a slow recovery from my illness, but I’m once again feeling ready to conquer the world of music. I am currently taking an intermission this month of April just to gather new thoughts and to create new paintings but most of all trying to finish my book.
Hi Everyone & Welcome,
Thanks again for checking out my website. Just returned home from Jakarta, Indonesia and what a trip that was, of all times to catch the flu. It got me real bad. Couldn’t enjoy my time in Indonesia even though the festival was incredible.
Lots of Great Musicians performing over 3 days. Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Erykah Badu, Manhattan Transfer, Poncho Sanchez, Bobby McFerrin, and so many more.
Happy New Year Everyone,
Hope your new year is off to a great start. We spent New Years Eve in Las Vegas and had a wonderful time. Caught a couple of shows, Chris Angel at the Luxor Hotel and Cirque du Soleil’s KA at the MGM Hotel. At 12:00 midnight we were at Chris Angel’s house party. Lots of food, drinks, and very nice people.
